Each chamber in the great need for a great editing software. I'm sure most people already know, but all Apple editing programs that support the HDV format natively, without having to buy additional video cards. This is true for Apple Final Cut Pro HD, Final Cut Express HD and iMovie HD too! High definition video from this camera can also be modified on an iBook with the new iMovie HD right out of the box. This is what I call really amazing!

I was with the DCRVX 1000 by more than 10 years and has done well. However, the FX1 is so superior in every way. The only feature I miss is the "overlap". So far, the color, detail, feeling (a little "heavier than the VX1000) is even better than I expected. HD is as close as possible to reality. I have 2 weddings that register early, and I trust that the FX1 will perform without fail. I recommend this camera for video-very serious. This is 2 thousand dollars to prices below the VX1000 sold "from 96 to 5 thousand U.S. dollars. The technology has improved, while costs have decreased. A good buy for 3 large.
