Canon BP-2L14 Battery for Canon HG, HV, ZR, Optura, and Elura Camcorders The Canon BP2L14 is a Lithium-ion battery for ZR100, ZR200, ZR300, Optura, and Elura camcorders. Charge and carry it as a spare for your camcorder, doubling your amount of uninterrupted shooing time.

Lithium-ion batteries, unlike Nickel-Cadmium batteries, are free of memory effect, which can reduce the usable power of the battery over time.

Customer Review: Great replacement battery
I bought the BP-2L14 as a replacement for the battery that came with my Optura camera. The standard battery never quite held a charge from the start and before long I would get a “battery warning” lamp right after turning on the camera. The longer life and no memory charging make this a great option for anyone looking for a backup battery.

I own the Canon HV-20 and this battery is almost twice as large as the stock battery and it fits flush with the camera body. This battery lasts much longer than the stock battery. All you need are a couple of these and you’ll be set for a full days recording!!!
