It works. It is easier to carry than a cable for your camera. It can be a cheap and versitile thumb drive. I bought a second one. The shape (wide shoulders) might be a probblem in some applications, but hasn’t been for me.

JVC CU-VD20 Share Station DVD Burner for Everio Camcorders The CUVD20 Everio Share Station is a DVD burner designed specifically for use with Everio GZ-MG555, GZ-MG155 or GZ-MG130 hard drive camcorder.
