I recently bought a Canon HV30, and after reading the reviews, I determined that I would need some sort of external mike. Customer Review: Works well, but beware of physical dimensions
I have had no problems at all with the operation of this item on one computer that I use. But because of the dimensions of the reader, specifically the width, it will not even fit on another computer because the computer case trim obstructs insertion of the device and it can’t be plugged in.
