Customer Review: Long lasting battery
The Samsung battery has worked very well in my Samsung camcorder — much better than the third party battery I bought at the same time, which runs out of power after only 8 minutes. The Samsung battery, on the other hand, recently kept my camcorder going all afternoon while I filled an entire mini-DV tape with video — and the battery is several years old!

This battery does NOT fit ALL Samsung camcorders, as stated in Amazon’s descriptive material.
I was trying to find a battery for a Samsung SC-D353 Mini DV camcorder. While it does fit several Samsung camcorders, there are many models it doesn’t fit. Mine happens to be one of the many that it won’t fit. I have since returned the battery to Amazon for a refund.

Customer Review: NOT AS PICTURED
The picture on amazon looks like it may be the OEM supplier of Canon. It may very well be but the markings on the outside are not there like shown and the contacts are of a different material from the Canon OEM. I have several different aftermarket batteries and this does not match as close in appearance as the others. Does it work? yes it does, so far, but not as pictured on site. -2 stars for my disappointment in appearance.

This Ultralast battery is a very good alternative to the Canon NB-2L5 for the Canon camcorder, at a good, low cost,
